Auto Attack

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): AutoAttackFabricClient did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class net.minecraft.core.registries.BuiltInRegistries does not have member field 'net.minecraft.core.DefaultedRegistry ENTITY_TYPE'.

What it needs from Kiln

  • an access widener

  • net.fabricmc.loader.api.ModContainer
  • net.fabricmc.loader.api.metadata.ModOrigin

  • Minecraft.gameMode
  • Minecraft.hitResult
  • ClientPacketListener.send()
  • LocalPlayer.connection
  • LocalPlayer.getAttackStrengthScale()
  • LocalPlayer.getDirection()
  • LocalPlayer.getYRot()
  • LocalPlayer.setYHeadRot()
  • LocalPlayer.setYRot()
  • LocalPlayer.swing()
  • BuiltInRegistries.ENTITY_TYPE
  • Identifier.tryParse()
  • Entity.getType()
  • LivingEntity.damageCooldownTime
  • LivingEntity.isAlive()
  • LivingEntity.isDeadOrDying()
  • Player.getUseItem()
  • Player.isUsingItem()
  • ItemStack.getAttackAnimation()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
