Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): ChestFillClient did not start: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/client/item/v1/ItemTooltipCallback.
What it needs from Kiln
- Mixin
- net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.item.v1.ItemTooltipCallback
- net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponents
- net.minecraft.network.chat.Style
- net.minecraft.world.item.Item.TooltipContext
- net.minecraft.world.item.component.ItemContainerContents
- net.minecraft.world.level.block.ShulkerBoxBlock
- net.minecraft.world.phys.HitResult.Type
- Minecraft.hitResult
- LocalPlayer.isShiftKeyDown()
- MutableComponent.withStyle()
- ItemStack.get()
- BlockHitResult.getType()
On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
In the author's words
ChestSense is a client-side QOL mod that helps you manage storage more e. When you look at a chest, barrel, or shulker, it shows a quick fill bar so you know how full it is. Holding shift gives you a clean preview of all the items inside.
Scan
Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file chestfill-plus-1.1.0+mc26.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
