Elytra Swapper

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD. Its Mixins were not applied, so that part of it is missing.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants.Key
  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window
  • net.minecraft.client.Options
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.AbstractWidget
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.Builder
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.OnPress
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Tooltip
  • net.minecraft.client.input.MouseButtonEvent
  • net.minecraft.client.input.MouseButtonInfo
  • net.minecraft.util.Mth
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.EquipmentSlot
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.player.Inventory
  • InputConstants.getKey()
  • KeyMapping.click()
  • KeyMapping.isDown()
  • KeyMapping.saveString()
  • Minecraft.getWindow()
  • Minecraft.mouseHandler
  • Minecraft.options
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.centeredText()
  • Screen.extractRenderState()
  • LocalPlayer.getInventory()
  • LocalPlayer.getItemBySlot()
  • LocalPlayer.isFallFlying()
  • ItemStack.is()
  • Items.CHAINMAIL_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.COPPER_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.DIAMOND_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.ELYTRA
  • Items.FIREWORK_ROCKET
  • Items.GOLDEN_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.IRON_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.LEATHER_CHESTPLATE
  • Items.NETHERITE_CHESTPLATE

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

Fast elytra and chestplate swapping with rocket boosting, built to feel as vanilla as possible.
