Decent Freelook
Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): 1140 ticks with errors, first: an END_CLIENT_TICK listener threw java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'boolean net.minecraft.client.KeyMapping.isDown()'.
What it needs from Kiln
- Mixin
- net.minecraft.client.CameraType
- net.minecraft.client.OptionInstance
- net.minecraft.client.Options
- KeyMapping.isDown()
- Minecraft.options
- LocalPlayer.getXRot()
- LocalPlayer.getYRot()
On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Mixin (0.5)
In the author's words
