EaseonCS - SilentSign

An automatic test ran it on Kiln's test stand (its own code, with a scripted minute of play in place of the game) and nothing broke, and everything it called is written in Kiln: it most likely works. Not checked in the game by hand yet.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD.

What it needs from Kiln

  • net.minecraft.client.gui.screens.inventory.HangingSignEditScreen
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.screens.inventory.SignEditScreen
  • net.minecraft.tags.ItemTags
  • net.minecraft.world.level.block.CeilingHangingSignBlock
  • net.minecraft.world.level.block.SignBlock
  • net.minecraft.world.level.block.WallHangingSignBlock
  • net.minecraft.world.level.block.WallSignBlock
  • net.minecraft.world.phys.HitResult.Type
  • LocalPlayer.isCrouching()
  • Holder.is()
  • ItemStack.typeHolder()
  • BlockHitResult.getType()

In the author's words

Silently places signs without opening the sign edit screen.

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file easeon.cs.silentsign.teron.fabric-26.3.2.0+mc26.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
