Flashback Settings

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): FlashbackSettingsClient did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants does not have member field 'com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants$Key UNKNOWN'.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants.Key
  • net.minecraft.SharedConstants
  • net.minecraft.WorldVersion
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.Builder
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.CreateNarration
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.OnPress
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.EditBox
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Tooltip
  • net.minecraft.client.multiplayer.ServerData
  • net.minecraft.client.renderer.RenderPipelines
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.FontDescription
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.FontDescription.Resource
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.Style
  • InputConstants.UNKNOWN
  • Minecraft.getCurrentServer()
  • Minecraft.setScreenAndShow()
  • Font.width()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.blitSprite()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.centeredText()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.horizontalLine()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.outline()
  • Screen.extractRenderState()
  • Component.copy()
  • MutableComponent.withStyle()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

A mod that adds more Flashback settings starting with changing the replay folder location and adding subfolders.
