Herd Mentality
Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): HerdMentalityFabric did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class net.minecraft.core.registries.Registries does not have member field 'net.minecraft.resources.ResourceKey ENTITY_TYPE'.
What it needs from Kiln
- Mixin
- net.minecraft.tags.TagKey
- net.minecraft.world.entity.Mob
- net.minecraft.world.entity.monster.Enemy
- net.minecraft.world.phys.AABB
- Registries.ENTITY_TYPE
- LivingEntity.getBoundingBox()
- LivingEntity.is()
- LivingEntity.isAlliedTo()
- LivingEntity.setLastHurtByPlayer()
- Level.getEntitiesOfClass()
On the roadmap: Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
In the author's words
Attacking a mob will aggrevate nearby mobs of the same type.
Scan
Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file HerdMentality-fabric-MC26.3-26.3.0.1.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
