Immersive Minimaps

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): it stopped at folk.sisby.kaleido.api.WrappedConfig, a class from a jar nested inside the mod; Kiln does not unpack nested jars yet.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.event.lifecycle.v1.ClientLifecycleEvents
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.event.lifecycle.v1.ClientLifecycleEvents.ClientStarted
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.player.UseBlockCallback
  • net.minecraft.util.ARGB
  • net.minecraft.util.Mth
  • net.minecraft.world.effect.MobEffect
  • net.minecraft.world.effect.MobEffectInstance
  • net.minecraft.world.level.ChunkPos
  • net.minecraft.world.level.FoliageColor
  • net.minecraft.world.level.border.WorldBorder
  • net.minecraft.world.level.material.MapColor
  • KeyMapping.isDown()
  • Minecraft.getWindow()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.fakeItem()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.pose()
  • ClientLevel.getWorldBorder()
  • ClientPacketListener.getOnlinePlayerIds()
  • LocalPlayer.connection
  • LocalPlayer.getBlockX()
  • LocalPlayer.getBlockZ()
  • LocalPlayer.getYRot()
  • LocalPlayer.position()
  • BlockPos.toShortString()
  • DefaultedRegistry.getOptional()
  • Identifier.tryParse()
  • Player.getActiveEffects()
  • Block.defaultMapColor()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

A minimalist, client-side minimap that integrates Hoofprint into the player's UI, allowing it to only be visible as long as the player has a map.

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file immersiveminimaps-1.2.4+26.3-fabric.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
