Invistags

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): CleaspfabricClient did not start: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/client/command/v2/ClientCommandRegistrationCallback.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • com.mojang.authlib.GameProfile
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.command.v2.ClientCommandRegistrationCallback
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.command.v2.ClientCommands
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.command.v2.FabricClientCommandSource
  • net.minecraft.client.multiplayer.PlayerInfo
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.EquipmentSlot
  • Minecraft.setScreenAndShow()
  • ClientLevel.players()
  • ClientPacketListener.getListedOnlinePlayers()
  • Player.getItemBySlot()
  • Player.isInvisible()
  • Player.setItemSlot()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

Shows invisible players' nametags and skins at full opacity. Client-side, with persistent settings, keybinds and a Cloth Config screen.

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file invistags-1.2.0-mc26.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
