Just Grenades

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): JustGrenades did not start: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'net.minecraft.world.item.Item$Properties net.minecraft.world.item.Item$Properties.useCooldown(float)'; JustGrenadesClient did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class net.minecraft.core.registries.BuiltInRegistries does not have member field 'net.minecraft.core.DefaultedRegistry ENTITY_TYPE'.

What it needs from Kiln

  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.client.rendering.v1.EntityRendererRegistry
  • net.minecraft.client.renderer.entity.EntityRendererProvider
  • net.minecraft.client.renderer.entity.EntityRendererProvider.Context

  • net.minecraft.world.entity.projectile.throwableitemprojectile.ThrowableItemProjectile
  • net.minecraft.world.level.Level.ExplosionInteraction
  • net.minecraft.world.phys.AABB
  • BuiltInRegistries.ENTITY_TYPE
  • Registries.ENTITY_TYPE
  • ServerLevel.explode()
  • ServerLevel.sendParticles()
  • LivingEntity.isAlive()
  • Player.addEffect()
  • Player.getEyePosition()
  • Player.getRotationVector()
  • Item.Properties.useCooldown()
  • ItemStack.consume()
  • Level.addFreshEntity()
  • Level.getEntitiesOfClass()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3)

In the author's words

A tiny, but explosive, mod which adds grenades to Minecraft.
