LightAura

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): LightAuraMod did not start: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'net.minecraft.resources.Identifier net.minecraft.resources.Identifier.tryParse(java.lang.String)'; LightAuraClient did not start: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/core/Position.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.item.ItemEntity
  • net.minecraft.world.level.block.BushBlock
  • net.minecraft.world.level.entity.EntityTypeTest
  • net.minecraft.world.level.lighting.LevelLightEngine
  • net.minecraft.world.phys.AABB
  • net.minecraft.core.Position
  • BlockPos.asLong()
  • BlockPos.containing()
  • Identifier.tryParse()
  • Entity.isAlive()
  • Entity.isRemoved()
  • Player.getBoundingBox()
  • Player.getEyePosition()
  • Player.isUsingItem()
  • Level.getEntities()
  • Level.getLightEngine()
  • Blocks.LAVA
  • Blocks.LIGHT
  • BlockState.canBeReplaced()
  • BlockState.isSolid()
  • Vec3.distanceTo()

On the roadmap: Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
