Locator Display
Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): LocatorDisplayClient did not start: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'net.minecraft.client.User net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.getUser()'.
What it needs from Kiln
- an access widener
- Mixin
- net.minecraft.client.User
- net.minecraft.client.waypoints.ClientWaypointManager
- net.minecraft.world.waypoints.TrackedWaypoint
- Minecraft.getUser()
- ClientPacketListener.getWaypointManager()
- Identifier.isValidNamespace()
- Identifier.isValidPath()
On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
In the author's words
Locator Display is a client-side Minecraft mod that adds a customizable symbol next to player names in the tab list, colored exactly like their locator bar color.
Scan
Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file locator-display-26.3-fabric-v0.0.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
