MC Server Description
Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): McServerDescription did not start: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/event/lifecycle/v1/ServerTickEvents.
What it needs from Kiln
- net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.lifecycle.v1.ServerTickEvents
- net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.lifecycle.v1.ServerTickEvents.EndTick
- net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer
- ServerLevel.getOverworldClockTime()
- ServerLevel.isRaining()
- ServerLevel.isThundering()
On the roadmap: Code next to data (0.3)
In the author's words
Updates the server's MOTD with the day count, time of day, and weather.
Scan
Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file mc-server-description-4.2.1+26.1.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
