NoFireOverlay

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): NoFireOverlayFabricClient did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants does not have member field 'com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants$Key UNKNOWN'.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.InputConstants.Key
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.AbstractSliderButton
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.Builder
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.OnPress
  • net.minecraft.client.renderer.RenderPipelines
  • net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.TextureAtlasSprite
  • net.minecraft.client.resources.model.ModelBakery
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.CommonComponents
  • net.minecraft.util.ARGB
  • InputConstants.UNKNOWN
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.blitSprite()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.centeredText()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.disableScissor()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.enableScissor()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.fillGradient()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.getSprite()
  • Screen.extractRenderState()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

A slim, customizable fire overlay that keeps the vanilla flames from blocking your screen — see clearly while on fire and still know you're burning. Adjust opacity, size and position.

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file nofireoverlay-fabric-26.3-1.2.0.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
