Player Ping Display

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): PlayerPingDisplayClient did not start: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/fabricmc/fabric/api/event/player/AttackEntityCallback.

What it needs from Kiln

  • com.mojang.authlib.GameProfile
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.player.AttackEntityCallback
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.Hud
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.AbstractSliderButton

  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.centeredText()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.outline()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.pose()
  • Screen.extractRenderState()
  • Screen.mouseClicked()

  • Screen.removed()
  • ClientPacketListener.getOnlinePlayers()
  • ClientPacketListener.getPlayerInfo()
