SnapYaw

An automatic test ran it on Kiln's test stand (its own code, with a scripted minute of play in place of the game) and nothing broke, and everything it called is written in Kiln: it most likely works. Not checked in the game by hand yet.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD.

What it needs from Kiln

  • net.minecraft.world.TickRateManager
  • ClientLevel.tickRateManager()
  • LocalPlayer.getYRot()
  • LocalPlayer.setYRot()

In the author's words

Stop falling off your bridges! Snap your yaw to the nearest cardinal direction.

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file snapyaw-0.1.2+26.3-fabric.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
