Stacks Are Gone?

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): it stopped at net.a5ho9999.thighfigured.config.GeneratedConfig, a class from a jar nested inside the mod; Kiln does not unpack nested jars yet.

What it needs from Kiln

  • an access widener
  • Mixin
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.lifecycle.v1.ServerLifecycleEvents
  • net.fabricmc.fabric.api.event.lifecycle.v1.ServerLifecycleEvents.ServerStarted
  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponentMap
  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponentMap.Builder
  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponentType
  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponentType.Builder
  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponents
  • net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer
  • BuiltInRegistries.DATA_COMPONENT_TYPE
  • Identifier.tryParse()
  • Item.builtInRegistryHolder()
  • Item.components()
  • ItemStack.isDamageableItem()

On the roadmap: Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)

In the author's words

A silly little experiment that removes the stack size limit and no, I don't mean just a really big number

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file StacksAreGone-0.0.3-1.26.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
