The Forgotten Portal
Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.
Evidence
Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): ForgottenPortal did not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: Class net.minecraft.world.level.block.Blocks does not have member field 'net.minecraft.world.level.block.Block REINFORCED_DEEPSLATE'.
What it needs from Kiln
- Mixin
- net.fabricmc.loader.api.entrypoint.PreLaunchEntrypoint
- net.minecraft.tags.TagKey
- FabricLoader.isModLoaded()
- Registries.STRUCTURE
- Blocks.REINFORCED_DEEPSLATE
On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
In the author's words
Mojang built a portal frame in the ancient city and never lit it. Now it is the only way into the Nether.
Scan
Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file forgotten-portal-mc26.3-fabric-1.0.1.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
