Third Person Death Continued

Calls something that is on Kiln's roadmap. Parts of it may already run.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD. Its Mixins were not applied, so that part of it is missing.

What it needs from Kiln

  • Mixin
  • net.minecraft.client.CameraType
  • net.minecraft.client.Options
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.ActiveTextCollector
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.ActiveTextCollector.Parameters
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.GuiGraphicsExtractor.HoveredTextEffects
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.TextAlignment
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.Builder
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.components.Button.OnPress
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.screens.DeathScreen
  • net.minecraft.client.gui.screens.TitleScreen
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.FontDescription
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.FontDescription.Resource
  • net.minecraft.network.chat.Style
  • net.minecraft.network.protocol.game.ServerboundClientCommandPacket
  • net.minecraft.network.protocol.game.ServerboundClientCommandPacket.Action
  • Minecraft.disconnectWithSavingScreen()
  • Minecraft.options
  • Minecraft.setScreenAndShow()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.fillGradient()
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.textRenderer()
  • Screen.extractRenderState()
  • Screen.mouseClicked()
  • Screen.tick()
  • ClientLevel.DEFAULT_QUIT_MESSAGE
  • ClientLevel.disconnect()
  • ClientPacketListener.send()
  • LocalPlayer.respawn()
  • MutableComponent.setStyle()

On the roadmap: Minecraft's libraries and client API (0.2), Code next to data (0.3), Mixin (0.5)
