Usage Ticker Reloaded

An automatic test ran it on Kiln's test stand (its own code, with a scripted minute of play in place of the game) and nothing broke, and everything it called is written in Kiln: it most likely works. Not checked in the game by hand yet.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD.

What it needs from Kiln

  • net.minecraft.core.component.DataComponents
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.HumanoidArm
  • net.minecraft.world.entity.player.Inventory
  • net.minecraft.world.item.ItemStackTemplate
  • net.minecraft.world.item.component.BundleContents
  • net.minecraft.world.item.component.ItemContainerContents
  • GuiGraphicsExtractor.item()
  • Player.getInventory()
  • Player.getMainArm()
  • ItemStack.get()
  • ItemStack.isSameItem()
  • ItemStack.isSameItemSameComponents()

In the author's words

A lightweight client-side mod that shows the remaining count of the item you are holding in your inventory.
