WindowFix

An automatic test ran it on Kiln's test stand (its own code, with a scripted minute of play in place of the game) and nothing broke, and everything it called is written in Kiln: it most likely works. Not checked in the game by hand yet.

Evidence

Ran on Kiln's test stand (2026-11-04): client entrypoint started, 1200 ticks without errors, nothing drawn on the HUD.

What it needs from Kiln

  • com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window
  • org.lwjgl.sdl.SDLEvents
  • org.lwjgl.sdl.SDLProperties
  • org.lwjgl.sdl.SDLVideo
  • org.lwjgl.sdl.SDL_Event
  • org.lwjgl.system.APIUtil
  • org.lwjgl.system.JNI
  • org.lwjgl.system.MemoryStack
  • org.lwjgl.system.MemoryUtil
  • org.lwjgl.system.Pointer
  • org.lwjgl.system.windows.User32
  • org.lwjgl.system.windows.WindowProc
  • Minecraft.getWindow()

In the author's words

Used to fix the issue of main loop hang/freeze that may occur in Minecraft under Windows after operating the system menu of the window title bar (right-clicking the title bar, minimizing, restoring, etc.).

Scan

Scanned on 4 November 2026 against Kiln 0.2.0, file windowfix-fabric-1.0.1+mc26.3.jar. The scan reads the mod's classes; it does not run them.
